Puerto Madryn Argentina

The city of Puerto Madryn is situated in the eastern region of the Province of Chubut on the Atlantic coast in the Patagonia region of Argentina. It's regarded as one of the top spots in the world for observing marine animals in their natural environment. Puerto Madryn is the starting point for most tourists who come to visit two stunning Nature Reserves. These are Peninsula Valdes and Punta Tombo. Both are unique wildlife sanctuaries. Here you can see penguins, a large number of sea lions, elephant seals, dolphins, a wide variety of birds and whales. Whale watching is a very popular activity and draws in tourists in droves. The UNESCO has declared the Peninsula a Natural World Heritage site. The clean waters, the untouched nature, the wild Patagonia environment, and the idyllic solitude of a vast desert act like a magnet for nature enthusiasts. But don't worry, there are plenty of delicious restaurants and excellent shopping in town, as well as beautiful sandy beaches.
