Day 01: Arrival in Muscat (Saturday)

Arrival at Muscat International Airport. Our representative will be waiting to greet you after you exit the baggage claim area. They will then assist you with your transfer to the hotel.

Overnight in Al Falaj Hotel, Muscat (standard rooms)

Travel Time: approx. 50 km / 30 - 45 min

Day 02: Full day tour of Muscat (Sunday)

You'll have breakfast at the hotel, then meet your German-speaking guide at 0830Hrs to start your tour of Muscat.

First, you'll visit the Grand Mosque, known for its impressive Arabian architecture.

Note: The mosque is open daily for visitors from 08:00 to 11:00, except on Fridays. Please adhere to the dress code: Women should wear attire covering their arms and legs and should also cover their heads with a scarf, while men should wear normal shirts and trousers.

Next, you'll head to Nakhl to see the Nakhl Fort and the mineral-rich hot springs. Back in Muscat, you'll visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum to learn about Omani culture and history. Then, you'll drive along the Corniche, stopping for photos at the Sultan's Palace and the Portuguese forts.

Your tour will end at the Muttrah Souq, where you can experience the blend of old and new. Dinner will be at a local restaurant near the souq, offering delicious local specialties and beautiful sea views.

Finally, you'll be taken back to the hotel.

Day 03: Muscat – Bimah – Wadi Shab – Sur (Monday)

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. At 08:30, your adventure begins. You'll drive via Quriyat to see the stunning Bimah sinkhole, a natural wonder formed by karst topography.

Next, you'll visit Wadi Shab, one of Oman's most picturesque wadis. Expect a 2-hour walk (1 hour each way), but plan for 4-5 hours to fully enjoy the experience. Wear Reef, sturdy or similar shoesfor stability on the uneven terrain and to enjoy a swim.

Lunch will be a picnic amidst the natural beauty of Wadi Shab.

In the afternoon, you'll head to Sur and check in at the Sur Plaza Hotel. Dinner will be served at the hotel.

Travel Time: approx. 250 km / 8 h

*Kindly note that Wadi Shab is strewn with rocks and pebbles, which can make walking difficult. It is advisable to wear sturdy walking shoes, as well as reef shoes for entering the water.

Day 04: Sur – Wadi Bani Khalid – Desert (Tuesday)

You'll have breakfast at the hotel before starting your day.

First, you'll visit the dhow yards to see traditional boat-making followed by a visit to the historic maritime town of Sur.

Afterwards, you'll head to Wadi Bani Khalid, known for its stunning pools perfect for swimming.

Next, you'll travel to Bidiya and hop on 4WD cars to venture into the Wahiba Desert. Get ready to experience the mesmerizing golden sands of Wahiba Sands, stretching for miles.

Dinner and overnight at Safari Desert Camp (standard rooms)

Day 05: Desert – Ibra – Jabreen – Nizwa (Wednesday)

After breakfast at the camp, you'll return from the desert and continue your journey by minibus.

Your next stop is the women's market in Ibra, where you'll mingle with locals and experience the lively atmosphere.

Later, you'll visit Jabrin Castle, built in 1670, and known as the crown seat of the Yaruba Dynasty. Its design resembles the most beautiful palaces of its time.

Finally, you'll return to Nizwa and check in at the hotel. Dinner will be served at Al Diyar Hotel in Nizwa.

Day 06: Nizwa – Al Hamra – Jabal shams – Nizwa (Thursday)

After breakfast at the hotel, your tour will take you to the village of "Al Hamra," famous for its mud houses.

Next, you'll proceed to Misfat Al Abrein, a charming village nestled against a mountain. As you explore this picturesque village frozen in time, you'll be captivated by the simplicity and

warmth of its people.

Afterwards, you'll continue your journey with 4WD vehicles to Jebel Shams, also known as the Grand Canyon of Oman. You'll venture up to the Canyon near the Summit of Jebal Shams to

experience the cooler atmosphere and breathtaking views.

In the late afternoon, you'll return to Nizwa. Dinner will be served at Al Aqr Traditional restaurant, featuring local specialties.

After breakfast, you'll visit the Animal market in Nizwa and explore the bustling Nizwa Souq. Then, you'll tour the historic Nizwa fort before checking out of your hotel by 12:00.

On the way to Muscat, you'll stop for a quick photo opportunity at Birkat Al Mauz.

Once in Muscat, you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the corniche, taking in the sights of the Palace, Mutrah Mountain fortresses, and Sultan Qaboos harbor. If time allows, you can visit the Muttrah suq, Muscat's oldest market.

Later, you'll have a farewell dinner at Turkish Diwan Restaurant or a similar venue in Al Khuwair.

After dinner, you'll be taken to the airport for your return flight. Guests staying longer will be dropped off at their respective hotels.

Terms & conditions

The tour starts in Muscat every week on a Saturday (Day 1 is always Saturday).
Maximum number of guests shall not exceed 14 Per vehicle.
If a guest decides not to take part in the trip for any reason during the cancellation policy, refund is not possible.
If the hotels differ from the above prices, no price reduction will be granted.
If a guest arrives or departs on any other day other than the stipulated arrival & departure date, Airport Transfers will be charged accordingly and/or no refund will apply.
