Day 3: Polonnaruwa By Bicycles & Authentic Village Experience
Breakfast at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana. In the morning, explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa by bicycle, offering a unique opportunity to discover the well-preserved archaeological remains of Sri Lanka's medieval capital. After time at leisure for lunch (at own arrangement), return to Habarana and enjoy an authentic village experience, providing insight into the traditional rural lifestyle of Sri Lanka. Dinner and overnight stay at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana.
Day 4: Sigiriya, Spice Gardens & Kandy Heritage
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient frescoes, landscaped gardens, and panoramic views. Thereafter, proceed to Kandy. En route, visit a spice garden in Matale and enjoy a traditional Kamatha lunch. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Sri Lanka. Dinner and overnight stay at Castle Hill.
Day 5: Tea Country Landscapes & Colonial Nuwara Eliya.
Breakfast at Castle Hill. Thereafter, depart for Nuwara Eliya, travelling through the scenic hill country of Sri Lanka. En route, visit the picturesque Ramboda Falls and enjoy a guided tour of the Blue Field Tea Plantation, where you will discover the journey of world-renowned Ceylon tea from leaf to cup. Day 6: Nine Arches, Meditation & Ravana Falls
Breakfast at Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya. Depart for Ella, enjoying the scenic landscapes of Sri Lanka's hill country. Visit two of the region's most iconic landmarks, the Demodara Loop and the Nine Arch Bridge. Continue to Kithal Ella for a meditation session at the Rathmalkanda Meditation Centre, offering a moment of tranquillity amidst nature. Thereafter, proceed towards Yala, with a stop to view the impressive Ravana Falls en route. In the evening, enjoy dinner around a campfire in a warm and exclusive atmosphere at Wild Culture Yala. Day 7: Yala Safari & Galle Fort Heritage
